New appointment will enhance retail operations

Richard Glynn, the new chief executive at online and land gambling group Ladbrokes, has wasted no time in strengthening his senior management team, with the Telegraph newspaper reporting Saturday that he had ‘poached’ Nick Rust, formerly md of the Coral group’s land betting shops in the UK.

There have been reports that the Ladbrokes retail business has been under-performing, and the speculation is that Rust has been recruited to address the situation.

Richard Ames, Ladbrokes’ current head of retail betting, is being moved to a new role as head of customer operations.
